Saigon Hustle’s Global Triumph

In the heart of Houston, on a quiet stretch of Witte Road, stood a forgotten relic, a vacant gas station. It was 2025 when our team saw not just an empty space, but a canvas brimming with potential. This was the beginning of the Saigon Hustle Spring Branch project, a journey that would soon capture the world’s attention.

Transforming 2,040 square feet of abandoned ground into a vibrant fast-casual Vietnamese restaurant was no small feat. We chose to honor the past by preserving the original gas station canopy, breathing new life into it with bold graphics, glowing lights, and fresh signage. This canopy, once a symbol of fuel and travel, became the heart of a new experience: welcoming guests eager for quick, delicious meals served with a smile.

Every detail was carefully crafted: from the efficient counter-service ordering system to the cozy indoor seating, the convenient take-out options, and even a dedicated drive-thru designed for the bustling pace of modern life. It was a space built for movement, connection, and flavor.

When the Global Design & Development Awards announced Saigon Hustle as a winner, it was a testament to the countless hours, the creative sparks, and the unwavering dedication of a passionate team. Fernanda Martinez, Cienna Eder, and Sofía Rimosaitis stood at the forefront, their vision and hard work lighting the way.

This award honors a story of transformation, collaboration, and the belief that with commitment, even the most unlikely places can become landmarks of innovation. Saigon Hustle’s journey reminds us all that when vision meets passion, extraordinary things happen.
